Kurt takes us through modeling this hard surface robot. He starts off with image plane set-up then proceeds with polygon primitives to achieve all the basic proportions. Then Kurt adds detail using a variety of different modeling tools, before converting to sub-d's for final shaping. After using these methods to create the robot then you can use everything learnt to apply to similar projects.
